Jeremy Pemberton has spent nearly 13 years as principal at Cliffroom Consulting in San Luis Obispo, CA. In this position, he and his team perform contract work in areas of systems implementation, productivity optimization, financial management, and marketing and branding. After six years in this position, Jeremy Pemberton expanded his professional activities by founding Discovery Ventura in Ventura, CA. Following a $3.2 million development project on 1.5 acres, Discovery Ventura has evolved into the region’s most popular entertainment destination, hosting more than 200 concerts every year and providing recreational options ranging from nine bowling lanes to an outdoor patio with fireplaces.
An alumnus of the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a member of both the California and National Restaurant Associations, Mr. Pemberton established the restaurant Porto Leon in San Luis Obispo in 2018. Located at 1122 Chorro St. in the city’s downtown area, Porto Leon is a tapas restaurant specializing in dishes influenced by Spanish and Californian cuisine. The restaurant makes use of locally sourced and sustainably grown food products.
